Colin Castleton, D’Moi Hodge and Alex Fudge, who have two-way contracts with the Los Angeles Lakers, will receive double their salaries after the Lakers won the NBA In-Season Tournament by defeating the Indiana Pacers in the final game.
The three players had minimal impact on the Lakers’ effort to win the so-called “NBA Cup,” but according to tournament rules, each of them will receive a $500,000 bonus for the trophy.
Normally, under the collective agreement, the three players will receive $559,782 each for the 2023-24 season. With the bonus, their earnings will be $500,000. With the bonus, their earnings will amount to $1,059,782.
On average, the three players contribute 5.4 points per game to the Los Angeles Lakers this season.
