Karl-Anthony Towns has surgery: how long will he be out?

I Minnesota Timberwolves last night won, thanks to an incredible stoppage by Anthony Edwards in the finale, despite the absence of Karl-Anthony Towns. An absence they will have to get used to, however, as KAT, after a confrontation with specialists for a left meniscus injury, decided to have surgery.

Fortunately for the T’Wolves, protagonists of a great season, Towns’ season will not end here. According to estimates, the long man will have to be reevaluated in a month’s time and may return at the start of the Playoffs, scheduled to begin April 20.

Karl-Anthony Towns is part of Minnesota’s “Big 3” with Edwards and Rudy Gobert. In the season that crowned him an All Star for the fourth time in his career, the Dominican is keeping 22.1 points and 8.4 rebounds average..
