Niccolo Mannion had started very well in NBA Summer League with the Milwaukee Bucks but it is in the second game in a row that he is going worse, so much so that tonight he even missed the quintet and scored only 4 points.
In 16 minutes of usage, the former Virtus Bologna and Golden State Warriors outfielder shot only 1/8 from the field, including 0/6 from the field, with 2/2 from the charity line.
We hoped that the class of 2001 boy could improve his numbers tonight but that was not the case and his team lost badly to the Brooklyn Nets 92 to 71, then by 21 points.
The debut had made us really hopeful however unfortunately the last two games have shown some gaps in the Italian-American’s shooting and the statistics are there to prove it.
The only happy note in his performance is the 4 assists in 16 minutes. This is really the only positive aspect of a forgettable performance for a guy who in his heart still hopes he can return to NBA play after a rookie year and signing with the VuNere.
Let’s see what performance Nico Mannion will churn out in NBA Summer League in the upcoming game against the Miami Heat.
