With the NBA regular season coming to an end, it is already time for many teams to think about the Draft.
The first 14 first-round picks will be assigned to teams that did not qualify for the Playoffs. The order, however, is yet to be determined through the Lottery, never so highly anticipated as this year, scheduled between May 16 and 17. Having the first overall pick, in fact, would mean securing the Victor Wembanyama, a player capable of changing the history of any franchise.
Let’s see which teams have greatest odds of having the No. 1 pick and drawing the French phenomenon.
14% Detroit Pistons, Houston Rockets, San Antonio Spurs
12.5% Charlotte Hornets
10.8% Orlando Magic (9% because of the pick that belongs to them, 1.8% because they will also take the lottery pick that would have belonged to the Bulls, obtained in a past trade)
10.5% Portland Trail Blazers
9% Orlando Magic
6.8% Indiana Pacers
6.7% Washington Wizards
4.5% Utah Jazz
3% Dallas Mavericks
1.7% Oklahoma City Thunder
1% Toronto Raptors
0.5% New Orleans Pelicans
