The NBA season has been underway for just over a week, but James Harden has yet to set foot on the court. Although he had returned to Philadelphia in time for the trip against the Milwaukee Bucks, the player had been turned away by his own (former) team at the airport, sent home to give him time to get in shape after several weeks away from the gym for personal reasons. Harden then also missed the subsequent trip to Toronto and went to the bench, in plain clothes, against Portland just hours before he was finally traded to the Los Angeles Clippers.
If PJ Tucker, who arrived in LA with him, will make his debut as early as tonight in the derby against the Lakers, Harden will have to wait a few more days. According to reports by Shams Charania, the former Sixers will wear the Clippers jersey for the first time Monday in the game against the New York Knicks at Madison Square Garden.. James Harden will therefore miss tonight’s contest, then the team will be resting right up to the trip to the Big Apple at 1:30 a.m. Italian time on Monday night and Tuesday night.

However, Harden has already arrived in Los Angeles; yesterday at the game against Orlando he greeted his new teammates, including friend Russell Westbrook, in the locker room.
