The last game of Chris Paul dates back to Jan. 5, when the point guard of the Golden State Warriors had fractured his hand. Initially it was feared that CP3 might have ended the season prematurely, but fortunately for the Californians, recovery time has been tighter.
As reported by Shams Charania, the Warriors have defined Paul as available for the game against Washington tomorrow. In 32 games with Golden State, CP3 has maintained an average of 8.9 points and 7.2 assists while almost always starting from the bench.
In these months of absence, the Warriors’ hierarchies have changed a lot. Klay Thompson has been ousted from the starting quintet, Brandin Podziemski has more and more space, and it will have to be seen how Steve Kerr will manage to reinsert Chris Paul. Golden State is 10th in the Western Conference with a 29-27 record: sixth place, which would mean postseason without going through the Play-in, is four games away. Not a few for what the Warriors have shown so far.
Warriors guard Chris Paul – out since Jan. 5 due to fractured hand – is listed as available to return Tuesday vs. Wizards.
