VIDEO: BUTLER’S PHENOMENAL basket that gave Miami overtime.

Miami Heat star Jimmy Butler continues to make playoff history. With the Milwaukee Bucks needing only one last defense to force the series to Game 6, Butler once again proved he is one of the best playoff performers of his generation with yet another no-nonsense shot.

With 2.1 seconds left on the game clock, the Heat needed to come up with an incredible play to tie the contest at 118. And it was indeed an incredible play. Butler started the inbound action along the baseline and curled after a block toward the basket. Gabe Vincent then threw a targeted pass to Butler, who inexplicably scored a basket just as he was falling to the floor with Jrue Holiday and Pat Connaughton right next to him.

Clearly the entire Bucks team was shocked after Jimmy Butler’s wonderful basket that tied the game for the Heat. Despite having a timeout, the Bucks failed to use it, instead shooting a prayer that fell on deaf ears at the end of regulation time.

In overtime, as we know, the Miami Heat then closed out the series thanks specifically to Jimmy Butler.
