I Minnesota Timberwolves add an important piece to a roster that is traveling fast in this first half of the season: Monte Morris, who arrives in a trade with the Detroit Pistons. The point guard had recently returned to the court, making his season debut a couple of weeks ago: so far he has maintained 4.5 points on average, but between Denver and Washington he went into double figures in 4 out of 6 seasons.
As soon as he regains condition, Morris will be a very valuable backup for Mike Conley. Detroit, which earlier in the day had completed a trade with the Jazz by acquiring Simone Fontecchio, receives Shake Milton, Troy Brown Jr and a second-round pick in the 2030 Draft in return.
Timberwolves are sending Shake Milton, Troy Brown Jr. and one second-round pick to Detroit for Monte Morris, sources said. https://t.co/sb12v2N1gk
