Steve Kerr dropped in on… Momo Salah and Jurgen Klopp.

Steve Kerr is spending his vacation in Europe and taking the opportunity to learn more about Old World sports.

A few days ago the coach of the Golden State Warriors was in Spain, hosting Mallorca (a team owned by Robert Saver, owner of the Phoenix Suns). Then the reigning NBA champion coach moved to England and popped over to Liverpool.

Kerr, in fact, was a guest at the training center of the Reds who are already in the thick of their season. Witnessing the visit was a tweet from Mohamed Salah: The Egyptian posted a photo showing him, Virgil Van Dijk, and Trent Alexander-Arnold intent on listening to the coach’s words. Eloquent is the caption, “With a basketball legend.”

Highly likely that Kerr has also been entertaining with Jurgen Klopp, coach of Liverpool. Indeed, in the past, the coach had used the famous motto “You’ll never walk alone” to celebrate the Englishmen’s comeback in the Champions League semifinal with Barcelona in 2019. On that very occasion, Klopp paraphrased Kerr himself by calling his players “giants,” as his American colleague had done after the playoff victory with the Houston Rockets, a game in which Kevin Durant had exited due to a calf strain.
