Steph Curry, what a bang! Out several games due to injury

Steph Curry is undoubtedly the Golden State Warriors’ most crucial player in the NBA but unfortunately he will have to miss several games in the coming weeks due to a left leg injury suffered during tonight’s match against the Dallas Mavericks.

“Golden State’s Stephen Curry is expected to miss several weeks due to a left leg injury, according to several sources at @TheAthletic @Stadium”.

Clearly this is the worst possible news for a Golden State Warriors fan because it is yet another Steph Curry injury in the NBA this season.

This long absence will also affect the results of the team, which is in danger of going from an NBA title in 2022 to not making the playoffs in 2023, despite not having turned the team upside down. They are currently seventh and only the top 6 teams at the end of the regular season have the mathematical certainty of playing the post season because from week to 10th they face each other in the play-in with only 2 places available.

It will all depend on how many weeks these “several weeks” actually are. 2-3 weeks is, perhaps, still bearable, considering that in between is the break for All-Star Weekend. If those weeks turn into months, well, then it will be tough to see the San Francisco-based franchise win its fifth NBA title of the 21st century in 2023.
