Steph Curry, we have – maybe – the date of return to the court

The Golden State Warriors are finally about to get Steph Curry back. After missing 10 games due to a leg injury suffered against the Dallas Mavericks in early February, the two-time MVP will soon be back on the court.

The Warriors star is expected to return to the parquet as early as Sunday against the Los Angeles Lakers, according to NBA insider Chris Haynes.

“Golden State star Stephen Curry plans to return Sunday on the road against the Los Angeles Lakers barring a setback, league sources said.”

The Warriors are a respectable 5-4 in the nine games Steph Curry has missed so far due to his current injury and are 12-12 overall this season without their frontman.

They have found their footing recently with three straight home wins, including two crucial games against the Portland Trail Blazers and Minnesota Timberwolves. With only a few games separating teams in the top six in the West from those completely outside the playoff picture, each win is huge entering the NBA’s stretched run before the postseason.

Let’s see if Steph Curry’s return to the court will give them a chance to at least compete in the play-in.
