Patrick Beverley HEAVILY PUNISHED by NBA for actions in game-6 vs. Indiana

Patrick Beverley of the Milwaukee Bucks received a sanction from the NBA for incidents and actions that occurred in his team’s Game-6 against the Indiana Pacers in the Eastern Conference Quarterfinals.

Milwaukee Bucks guard, Patrick Beverley, was suspended for 4 games without pay for forcefully and repeatedly throwing a basketball at spectators and inappropriately interacting with a reporter during media availability, it was announced today by Joe Dumars, Executive Vice President, Head of Basketball Operations.

Beverley’s actions took place during and after the Bucks’ 120-98 loss to the Indiana Pacers in Game 6 of the first round of the playoffs on May 2 at Gainbridge Fieldhouse.

In addition to throwing a basketball at fans behind the Bucks’ bench and hitting one of them, Beverley refused to speak to a reporter in the postgame after saying he did not subscribe to his podcast.

Let’s see if there will be any major reactions from the NBA world to the more-than-needed disqualification for Patrick Beverley.
