Nets’ season ticket campaign gives important market clue

A few days ago Kyrie Irving was in Los Angeles to attend a Sparks game in the WNBA. Yesterday the star of the Brooklyn Nets, set to expire in summer 2023, was instead in Las Vegas for Summer League. Irving’s future is still uncertain, although for the past couple of weeks he has decided to take advantage of his Player Option and in fact on paper has a season ahead of him in the Black and White, despite the non-renewal of his contract.

A trade for Irving is still possible, however, not to say very likely. As of today, the Los Angeles Lakers are definitely the most interested team, not to say the only one, even if negotiations have not entered into full swing. In the meantime, however, a market hint has come from the promotion of the Nets’ season ticket campaign for the 2022-23 season.. Indeed, Joe Harris, Ben Simmons, Kevin Durant (despite the trade requested by the latter) and Cam Thomas appear in the graphic.

So all of Brooklyn’s best players are present except Kyrie Irving, who was preferred to Thomas, a sophomore who scored last year 8.5 points on average.
