The Minnesota Timberwolves recently announced the roster for the Summer League in Las Vegas from July 7 to 12, and our own Matteo Spagnolo will be on it, for the second year in a row.

Matteo Spagnolo played last season with Dolomiti Energia Trentino on loan from Real Madrid, the team that holds the rights to him in Europe, while the Minnesota Timberwolves hold the rights to him in the NBA after selecting him with the number 50 on June 23, 2022, the same day Paolo Banchero was named with the number 1.
This is another great opportunity for the 2003-born boy from Puglia, who for a week or so will be able to prove his worth to the entire NBA world. We don’t know if the T’Wolves will try to bring him to America right away however, it is definitely an interesting showcase for Real Madrid as well, who might even consider keeping him on the roster for next season, making his EuroLega debut after a year in the EuroCup with the Trentino team.
Let’s see if Matteo Spagnolo will play real minutes in Vegas and if he shows in this Summer League that he has improved from last summer. The Italian league says this.
