On the night Matilde Villa was selected in the WNBA Draft.
The Italian-blue starlet, currently at Reyer Venezia, received the 32nd call-up from the Atlanta Dream, a franchise that also holds the rights to another Orogranata player, Lorela Cubaj.

For me it is a dream come true, I am overjoyed. I see it as recognition for all the work I have done so far. Being able to share this moment together with my teammates was special, we are a very close group and we support each other so much. When my name came up I felt a very strong emotion.
