Tonight the first 2 Play-In games were played and they gave the result we would have imagined. In fact, the Los Angeles Lakers defeated the New Orleans Pelicans and the Sacramento Kings scrambled the Golden State Warriors, confirming a season to forget.
Leading the Purple & Gold were LeBron James, Anthony Davis and D’Angelo Russell. Three scored 64 of the team’s 110 points., with King coming close to a triple double with 23, 9 rebounds and 9 assists. Zion Williamson was phenomenal because he put up 40 with 11 rebounds but his teammates did not support him enough and so the Lakers won the game with a final score of 110 to 106.
The Warriors, on the other hand, played an anonymous contest, with no particular high, only Curry scoring 20 with 22 total points. Sacramento, on the other hand, found a Keegan Murray crazy 32 points and 9 rebounds, supported by De’Aaron Fox’s 24. Let’s say this defeat of Golden State is a fitting conclusion after a troubled and not particularly brilliant season for a number of reasons with which you are well acquainted.
In short, to summarize, Lakers in the playoffs, Warriors at home, and Sacramento and New Orleans will play for the last postseason spot. The Pelicans will have the home court factor in their favor because they finished sixth in the regular season.
