Los Angeles Lakers, two sons of art arrive after the draft

I Los Angeles Lakers had no calls at the 2022 Draft, but managed to trade up to receive one from Orlando, number 35, with which they selected Max Christie from Michigan State. After the Draft, however, the yellow-viola made more than one move, especially with a view to training camp and Summer League. The Lakers secured two undrafted players who are also two sons of art: they signed Scottie Pippen Jr. on a two-way contract, while they signed Shareef O’Neal for the Summer League.

Pippen Jr comes from three seasons at Vanderbilt, the last closed with 20.4 point average. O’Neal, Shaq’s son of course, had held a workout with the Lakers just before the draft: despite having heart problems a few years ago, the class of 2000 played last season at LSU, the same university as his father. His numbers, however, were quite different from Shaq’s: 2.9 points and 2.1 rebounds average in 14 games, with only 9.2 average minutes of usage.
