LeBron James reacted badly to Kyrie Irving’s non-arrival

LeBron James had flaunted some confidence in recent days after the trade request of Kyrie Irving. Without keeping it too secret, James had hinted that he would very much enjoy a reunion with his former partner in his Cavaliers days. In the end, however, the Brooklyn Nets accepted the Dallas Mavericks’ offer, despite the fact that the Lakers had apparently put both of their draft picks on the table.

The news was not taken too well by LeBron, who once again entrusted Twitter with his disappointment. “Maybe it’s me.” wrote the Lakers superstar. The tweet can be interpreted as a lack of confidence in the yellow-viola management: “maybe it’s me” who keeps deluding myself that we will make some moves.

LeBron James can console himself in the coming days when he becomes the NBA’s all-time leading scorer. He is now only 36 points away from surpassing Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, which he will score between the next two home games against the Thunder and the Bucks. Unfortunately for him, Kyrie Irving will not be there to witness the milestone.
