Kevin Garnett: “Nikola Jokic is more dominant than Wilt and Shaq!”

Nikola Jokic has already won almost everything an NBA player could win during his career (except the MVP of the All Star Game): two-time season MVP, MVP of last year’s Finals and, of course, the NBA championship ring he won with his Denver Nuggets last summer; this season The Joker is playing yet another wonderful season, with Denver currently sitting in third place in the West with a record of 41 wins and 19 losses, just one game behind the Minnesota Timberwolves.

Kevin Garnett, who knows a thing or two about MVPs and rings, in the latest edition of his podcast, All The Smoke, spoke at length about Nikola Jokic, nominating him for the third best player of the season title: “My choice for MVP is Jokic.: Luka (Doncic) and Shai (Gilgeous-Alexander) are behind him but no one is doing what Joker is doing. He’s not athletic, he doesn’t jump, but. Is shattering any record: has a triple double against every team in the league! Right now, Jokic is more dominant than Wilt Chamberlain was! For me he comes before Wilt and Shaq! I don’t like to compare, but what he is doing is unbelievable, unprecedented. Shaq didn’t shoot 3’s, he didn’t make assists behind his back; what Jokic is doing, no one has ever done it“.
