Kyrie Irving and the Dallas Mavericks have started the 2023-24 NBA season on a relatively positive note. Although Irving has had to overcome a series of injuries, he is starting to become more and more comfortable in his role alongside Luka Doncic in recent times, and the Mavs are currently in playoff position in the Western Conference.
One person who knows just how good Kyrie Irving can be with the ball in his hands is none other than his former teammate at the Brooklyn Nets, Kevin Durant, who recently spoke about the former Cleveland Cavaliers’ basketball talent.
“I think he’s the most skilled I’ve ever played with.”, Durant told Grant Afseth of Sports Illustrated. “I think there’s nothing he can’t do with the basketball in his hands. So, it doesn’t matter what the setting is. He could do the same thing regardless of whether he’s playing with Team USA, NBA, NBA Finals, Playoffs, camp or whatever. He can do that. He can play anywhere. This is just a testament to how great he is and how hard he works.”, Kevin Durant said about Kyrie Irving.
