John Wall shock: “Over the years I’ve even thought about suicide.”

John Wall Is finally about to start anew, at the Los Angeles Clippers, after last season, although healthy, he ended up off the team to the Houston Rockets who wanted to give more space to their youngsters. The point guard, a 5-time All Star between 2014 and 2018, has been applauded in recent years not so much for his performance on the court but for the $120 million he has pocketed while playing just 40 games over the past 3 seasons.

Wall, however, must not have lived it as lightly, despite the millions, and the off-court problems have been even greater. He recounted this himself in a shock interview in which he admitted to having even contemplated suicide.

I thought about suicide. I ruptured my Achilles tendon, my mother died, a year later my grandmother also died, in the middle of Covid. I remember going to chemotherapy sessions, next to my mom, watching her last breaths wearing the same clothes for three days in a row. I don’t think many people would have gone through what I went through, I had great support from my partner, my family, my companions.
