John Wall could continue his career in Australia.
The former Washington, in fact, ended the current season as a free agent and seems to have difficulty finding a contract in the NBA for next season. Wall, in fact, ended the year prematurely by parting ways, after receiving a buyout, with the Los Angeles Clippers but did not convince any other franchise to bet on him.
Now the possibility of a move to Australia opens up. The destination team would be the South East Melbourne Suns, a club in which Wall is also a minority shareholder. We will see if the former Houston man decides to play in the NBL or if he can snag another deal in the NBA. It appears, however, that Wall has already informed Romi Chaudhary, the club’s majority shareholder, of his willingness to move to Australia. For Australian basketball, this would be a sensational coup, capable of giving further notoriety to a league that is becoming increasingly important over the years.
