Within a few hours, the video in which James Harden attempts to stop Kawhi Leonard, his comrade teammate.
Tonight the Los Angeles Clippers beat the Portland Trail Blazers 116-103. During the third quarter, with the Clips ahead by 21, an absurd episode: James Harden penetrates, dumps in the corner for Kawhi Leonard and then tries to contest his own partner’s shot. Conclusion that understandably the former Spurs man made a mistake, surprised by his partner’s behavior.

At the end of the game, Harden explained the motivations of his act.
For us, the last few weeks have been quite tough, everyone is waiting for us to try to put us in trouble. So I tried to transfer some energy to the team, to create some “great vibes.” It would have been better if Kawhi had scored probably but at least I brought some liveliness, something to laugh about.

Frankly, we struggle a bit to understand the logic of the explanation provided by Beard. But in the end the court proved him right with a wide win in which he himself put together 19 points and 14 assists. It probably would have been 15 if he had not tried to “bring some pizzazz” to his team.
