The game between Detroit Pistons e Phoenix Suns last night was played regularly, but under very unusual conditions. Among the Pistons’ ranks was Simone Fontecchio (18 points), but not Isaiah Stewart who was even arrested before the two-ball because of an altercation with Drew Eubanks in the locker room tunnel.
The two would come chest-to-chest, the reasons are not yet known, and Stewart allegedly punched Eubanks in the face.. Police also responded to the scene, and the longtime Pistons player was taken away, arraigned, and later released. Officers are continuing the investigation. Instead, Eubanks took the court regularly, playing 18′.
“The attack on Eubanks occurred without provocation; these acts of violence are unacceptable. We support Drew unequivocally and will continue to work with law enforcement and the NBA.” said a Suns spokesman.
Isaiah Stewart is no stranger to incidents of violence: a couple of years ago he was involved in a brawl on the court after being hit by LeBron James.
