Draymond Green of the Golden State Warriors has amassed a hefty collection of fines over the course of his 11 years in the NBA, with an estimated amount in excess of $2,231,780.
According to spotrac reports, the Golden State Warriors power forward, whose latest punishment came after attempting to choke Rudy Gobert, has surpassed $1.5 million in total career fines.
The estimated value of these fines does not include the time he Draymond Green Green punched Jordan Poole in practice of the Golden State Warriors team in November 2022. With that in mind, the winger is likely to have an even bigger bill in terms of fines.
The player will return to the court after serving a five-game penalty, which will be for the Sacramento Kings – Golden State Warriors game in the In-Season Tournament on Nov. 29.
The hope for him, the Warriors and his wallet is that this will be the last fine for a foolish action during a game or practice because we are all-especially the NBA-a little tired of such unsportsmanlike behavior that goes against the spirit of the sport we love so much.
