Gallinari does his, but Washington doesn’t and loses to Dallas

Danilo Gallinari reached double figures in points in the Washington Wizards’ loss at Capital One Arena to the Dallas Mavericks. The Italian played 18 minutes and put up 10 points and 6 rebounds, the result of 3 of 4 from two. He also scored 4 out of 4 free throws attempted, confirming his excellent percentages on the clock.

All in all. Gallinari can be satisfied with what he did against the Dallas Mavericks of Luka Doncic, Tim Hardaway Jr. and without Kyrie Irving, but the Washington Wizards are not because they lost again and are now at 2 wins in 11 games this season. Certainly not the record the Rooster would have liked to start this season with, after a year of inactivity to see teammates and opponents make baskets. But, in all honesty, we did not expect anything much different.

The Capitols’ top scorer was Kyle Kuzma with 22 points, while the best overall was Tim Hardaway Jr. with 31. The American did even better than Doncic, who stopped at 26 but flirted with a triple double because he also put up there 10 assists and 7 rebounds. Let’s see if Gallinari and the Wizards can improve their score between now and Christmas.
