How did James Harden’s debut with the Clippers go?

James Harden made his debut with the Los Angeles Clippers tonight against the New York Knicks after the trade that brought him to California from Philadelphia. The Beard played immediately 31 minutes and 22 seconds and scored only 17 points in the 111-97 defeat at Madison Square Garden in New York. All in all, he did not shoot badly because he finished 6 of 9 from the field however 9 shots is objectively a bit low for the usual averages of the former Phila, Brooklyn and Houston. Also playing in this challenge were Kawhi Leonard, Paul George and Russell Westbrook, in the quintet with Harden.

Harden in his first game with the Los Angeles Clippers. also dished out 6 assists, grabbed 3 rebounds and stole 1 ball. He also had 2 foul balls on the scoreboard, which, however, fit given the number of possessions he managed. Unfortunately, however, he was not able to give a success to the Los Angelinos, who had to surrender in front of the baskets of RJ Barrett (26 points at the end) and Julius Randle’s double-double (27 and 10 rebounds). The Clippers’ other phenomena divided the Californians’ other points more or less equally: 18 Leonard, 17 Westbrook and 10 George. Double figures also with for Norman Powell, who put up 14. to the scoreboard.
