I Golden State Warriors next season will have a very different face than the one with which they won the title last month. The Dubs have already seen Gary Payton II (Blazers), Juan Toscano-Anderson (Lakers) and Otto Porter Jr (Raptors) leave in free agency in the early hours of the market, tonight they then also lost Damion Lee e Nemanja Bjelica. Lee, by the way Steph Curry’s brother-in-law, agreed to a one-year deal, probably at minimum wage, with the Phoenix Suns. Bjelica shocked everyone and decided to return to Europe, signing with Fenerbahçe. The Serbian forward had already played with the yellow and blue before the NBA, winning the Euroleague MVP in 2015.

But there are fortunately more than just departures: the Warriors have confirmed Kevon Looney, a key player in winning the title, with a three-year, $25.5 million total deal. The center will continue to represent Golden State’s “historic” group along with Curry, Thompson and Green. Then the Dubs got their hands on Donte DiVincenzo on a two-year, $9.3 million deal. The Italian-American comes from a very bad season, back from injury, with Milwaukee and Sacramento jerseys: for him 9.0 points, 4.2 rebounds and 2.8 assists average in 42 games.
