Golden State Warriors – Memphis Grizzlies, weather far from Christmas.

The challenge between Golden State Warriors e Memphis Grizzlies featured the Christmas Day NBA 2022.

The rivalry between the two teams was ignited during the Western Conference semifinals last season and has continued in recent months through social media. Players from both sides therefore arrived definitely charged for the date.

The meeting saw Golden State prevail 109-123 with a Jordan Poole in extra fancy, able to finish with 32 points after putting up 17 in the first quarter alone. On the court many forbidden contacts, tension and trash talking in a fiery atmosphere, far from Christmas.

In the end there were as many as six technical fouls, more than any other game this year and never so many at Christmas in 25 years. Among the protagonists of the tussle (needless to say) was Draymond Green but in the end the ejection fell to Klay Thompson, thrown out for a double technical foul. In short, another contest that added gasoline to the fire of a now keenly felt rivalry.
