Halfway through his 16th season in the league, Danilo Gallinari set his sights on helping Giannis Antetokounmpo’s Milwaukee Bucks win an NBA title.
The Greek expressed his opinion on the experienced Italian’s contribution after a comfortable win against the Charlotte Hornets at Spectrum Center on Thursday.
“It’s easy to play with Gallo. He is so smart.”, noted the Greek Freak, “He’s been around for a long time. He knows how to play. Sometimes we will ask him to score. Sometimes we will ask him to put us in a position to score a basket. But we know he can do both. We know he can do many things for us at the offensive level. Defensively, such a big body helps the defense with his length.” he added.
Since joining Giannis Antetokounmpo’s team rotation just days after signing a contract as a free agent, Danilo Gallinari has enjoyed a 4-game winning streak by coming off the bench in all 4 outings. He has put up 2.5 points, 1 rebound and 1 assist per contest. In the last two wins against the Hornets, he scored a total of 10 points and increased playing time.
