Former NBA player becomes TV quiz champion

In the United States both basketball and the television quiz shows.

Two worlds that are both closely related Jared Jeffries. All-American in 2000, two years of college at Indiana, then a decade-plus NBA career between Washington, New York, Houston and Portland from 2002 to 2013.

At only 32, Jeffries stopped playing, joining the Denver Nuggets front office in scouting roles. After that he landed in the world of eSports, with an executive role in the company founded by another former NBA player Rick Fox.

Jeffries, however, also dabbles with great results in TV quizzes. A few days ago he participated in “Okay, the Price is Right.”, timeless show that has been popular in the U.S. for 50 years and has also been successful in the Italian version.

Jeffries won a car, a Toyota, by guessing its exact value of $22376. In particular, he triumphed in the game One Away, in which the wrong price of an object is shown with all the digits that make up the price differing by one from the correct ones.
