Dillon Brooks shoves a cameraman: the man’s condition and the NBA’s decision

Dillon Brooks made himself the protagonist of an unedifying act.

During the home game of the Miami Heat, won 138-119 by the Florida franchise, Dillon Brooks shoved an operator who was filming the game on the sidelines. The incident occurred as the Memphis Grizzlies player was attempting to save a ball near midfield. Probably out of frustration with the outcome and his failure to retrieve the ball, Brooks failed to stop his run and then nudged the cameraman.

The man is still under observation for injuries sustained in the fall while the NBA decided to punish Brooks with a $35,000 fine for an act deemed “unsportsmanlike.”
