Dallas closes score with Clippers, Orlando leads Cleveland to 7th

Luka Doncic and Kyrie Irving’s Dallas Mavericks closed out the series against the Los Angeles Clippers tonight, while the Magic won at home in Orlando and will now go on to play the “bella” in Cleveland.

Luka Doncic put up 28 points and Kyrie Irving 30, dragging the Mavericks to victory over the Clippers, ending the series and eliminating their opponents. Dallas will play against the Oklahoma City Thunder in the second round. The California lineup has suffered the absence of Kawhi Leonard, and we believe there will be big changes this summer, perhaps starting with the bench, as LeBron James is rumored to want him on the Lakers’ bench.

Different situation between Orlando Magic and Cleveland Cavaliers. Donovan Mitchell put up 50 but Paolo Banchero’s 27 points and 8 rebounds impacted the Florida franchise’s success. Now it’s back to Cleveland with the Magic hoping to return to the second round playoffs after several years, conversely Cleveland wants to be a respectable team again after the LeBron James years. We’ll see what happens though so far these playoffs are proving to be really exciting.
