California drought, Dwayne Wade is (also) to blame

The problem drought during this summer has become more and more severe. In Italy we are suffering its effects, but in parts of the United States the situation is even more severe.

Particularly in the California of the South, authorities imposed limits on water use per household. However, there were some violations, the most important of which were allegedly carried out by Dwayne Wade at his Hidden Hills mansion.

According to the Los Angeles Times, the former Heat star and his wife Gabrielle Union in June reportedly exceeded their usable quota by 1,400 percent, using as much as 340,000 gallons more water than allowed. The situation had been even worse in May, when the mansion had used 1.8 million liters of water more than permitted. They would not be the only “pinched” VIPs, however, as the list of wasters also includes Kim Kardashian, Kevin Hart and Sylvester Stallone.

The two, however, defended themselves against the accusations, attributing the cause of the waste to a problem in the pool that would be solved. In addition, Wade and his wife would decide to replace their lawns with artificial grass and install trees that require less watering so that they would have to consume less water for irrigation, as reported by ClutchPoints.
