Boston Celtics are trying to give up Danilo Gallinari

Danilo Gallinari pould leave i Boston Celtics without having played a single game in their jersey.

The Celtics are firmly in command of the Eastern Conference and seemed destined to make no moves near the trade deadline, which will kick off in a few hours.

In reality, however, Boston reportedly decided to try to shore up the roster with a graft under the basket, the area where the Celtics seem least equipped, especially with the prospect of increased physicality of matches during the playoffs.

That is why they had submitted an offer to San Antonio for Jakob Poeltl but the Spurs preferred to accept the Toronto Raptors’ proposal, sending the Austrian back to Canada.

The other hot name for the Celtics, therefore, would be. Mo Bamba. Boston would offer Gallinari and Payton Pritchard (and maybe a few picks) for the Magic’s long shot and the deal would fit perfectly from a salary standpoint, since the two Boston players earn as much overall as the one from Orlando.

However, the players involved in the trade, on either side, are not convincing. Pritchard and Gallinari do not seem suited to Orlando’s young project, even though the former will expire at the end of the year (he has a team option) while the Rooster has a player option in his favor at the end of the year and might not exercise it to go to another contender, after beings recovered from injury. The Magic, then, could thus find themselves with some SALARY SPACE end of the year. Bamba, for his part, does not seem to have theexperience needed to be reliable in a postseason setting but it must be said that there do not seem to be better attainable players than him.

In essence, the elements on the scales are not ideal for either side but things could fit together just the same.
