Perhaps the most iconic property in Michael Jordan is a villa of more than 5,200 square meters that the basketball legend owns in Highland Park, Illinois. This is, to be clear, the mansion whose entrance is sanctioned by a huge gate with the number 23 and recently used by Travis Scott for one of his music videos.
Jordan has not lived in the mansion since 2012, when he put it up for sale. The price then was $29 million, now halved given the difficulties in finding a buyer: it is now worth $14.8 million. The mansion has 9 bedrooms, 19 bathrooms, an indoor basketball court, a swimming pool, a tennis court, and even a cigar room, MJ’s great passion.
According to reports by TMZ, in the past few hours. an 18-year-old was caught red-handed after he broke into the mansion to take away some valuables. The alarm was raised by case neighbors, and upon the arrival of the police Raiden Hagedorn, that is the boy’s name, was still inside the property.
