Atlanta flies to Playoffs, Miami Heat beaten

Surprise in the first round of the Eastern Conference Play-Ins. The Atlanta Hawks beat the Miami Heat 109-101 and qualified for the Playoffs.

In the Hawks’ house, usual drag-and-drop performance for Trae Young who scores 25 (despite 1/8 from three) with 8 rebounds and 7 assists. Collective success for Atlanta, which sent all four players who came off the bench into double figures and dominates in rebounding (63-39) mainly thanks to an overflowing Clint Capela who pulls down as many as 21 balls.

Miami is not satisfied with the 33 of Kyle Lowry coming off the bench nor the 26 (with 23 shots) of Tyler Herro and the 21 of Jimmy Butler.

Atlanta finishes seventh and will face the Boston Celtics in the first round, the Heat will have to beat the winner of Toronto – Chicago to snatch the last ticket to the Playoffs.
