The December 15 represents a key date in the market NBA.
The rules governing the transfer of players within the NBA are very different from what we are used to in Europe. For example, free agent players who sign a new contract during the off-season cannot be traded before December 15.
For this reason, this date takes on a very important value and often indicates the “real” start of the NBA market during the season. At the stroke of December 15, there are potentially 74 players unlocked for trade, including some very interesting ones and All-Stars such as James Harden. Also on the transferable list are the two Italians Simone Fontecchio and Danilo Gallinari.
