The two plays with which Paul Banchero decided the challenge against the Kings

Paul Banchero in the night played another great game in Summer League, again proving decisive in the success of the Orlando Magic over the Sacramento Kings. The game was very close, stretching not only to an overtime but even to two. Summer League rules, to prevent a game from lasting too long, are different from those in the NBA when it comes to OT. The first overtime is a normal overtime, but it lasts only 2′ instead of the usual 5′. If the two teams are still tied, the second overtime is basically something like the Golden Goal in soccer. The first team to score wins.

Specifically, Magic and Kings tied at 92 at the end of the first OT. Orlando won the two-ball, but Banchero fumbled the first ball of the half (his eighth foul ball of the game). No worries, the first overall pick quickly made up for it. even stopping an alley-oop dunk by Neemias Queta.. At that point it was the Magic’s turn again, and again Banchero did not betray: shut down by Sacramento’s defense, he dumped under the basket for Emanuel Terry to score the game-winner.

In short, two decisive plays, the stoppage and the assist, that gave the Magic the win, in addition to the 23 points, 6 rebounds, 6 assists, 4 recoveries and 2 stoppages.
