Steph Curry: shoulder test results and recovery timeframe

The concerns of the Golden State Warriors for Steph Curry’s shoulder injury were well-founded. Examinations conducted in the past few hours revealed a problem that will keep Curry out at least “a few weeks”.

Recovery time has not been specified, but we certainly will not see Curry back within a few days. This also jeopardizes Curry’s presence for Christmas Day, which the Warriors will play against the Memphis Grizzlies in 10 days. This season, the MVP of the last Finals is maintaining. 30.0 points, 6.6 rebounds and 6.8 assists average, by far the best player in Golden State, stuck on 14-15 in 10th place in the West.

Golden State’s Steph Curry is expected to miss “a few weeks” with his left shoulder injury, sources tell ESPN.

UPDATE: according to Shams Charania, Curry has a glenoid labrum injury and will be reevaluated in 2 weeks. He would then certainly skip Christmas Day to try to return for late December or early 2023.
