A few days ago, Kylian Mbappé announced the launch of Zebra Valley, his new Los Angeles-based production company that will collaborate with the NBA. Its object? Create content in the world of sports, music, culture, technology and video games. Its goal? To help young people find their way and “generate dialogue between global communities by telling universal stories.”
On Thursday night, on the sidelines of the NBA draft in Brooklyn, the PSG forward announced a multi-year partnership between Zebra Valley and the American basketball organization.
“I’m here because I opened a production company and we signed a partnership with the NBA, so it was an opportunity, with the draft, to announce it to the world.”, he explained to the microphones of beIN Sports. “As an NBA fan I was also happy to come to the draft.”
“The strategic partnership between Zebra Valley and the NBA represents an important step in uniting soccer and basketball fans around premium content by telling stories that matter. We look forward to working with the NBA team to foster dialogue between global communities and make cultural conversations more relevant.”

We are sure to better understand in the coming months how this company will fit into the NBA world. It is really interesting, though, how much intermingling there is now between the NBA world and the European soccer world.
