In the querelle between James Harden e Daryl Morey Kyrie Irving has also now intervened on X. In the Italian morning, a video had circulated in which Harden, during his tour in China, directly attacked the president of the Philadelphia 76ers, calling him “liar”. In the hours that followed, rumors had then circulated that Morey had promised Harden a renewal at the maximum salary, but failed to keep his word. In the summer of 2022, Harden had signed a 1+1 at much lower than maximum salary figures so that the Sixers could strengthen the team. The plan was then to renew at much higher figures, but apparently Philly’s offer never came.
Responding to an article by Adrian Wojnarowski on ESPN entitled. “Disgruntled Harden calls 76ers president a ‘liar'”, Irving sided with his colleague as well as former partner at the Brooklyn Nets. “Is he disgruntled, Adrian? Or maybe he wants Morey to take responsibility for his dishonesty and lack of transparency in the process of negotiating a new contract over the summer?” Kyrie wrote.
Is he Disgruntled Adrian? Or is he holding Darryl Morey accountable for his dishonesty and lack of transparency throughout the contract negotiation process this summer?
