Kevin Durant, exam results and recovery timeframe

I Brooklyn Nets breathe a sigh of relief after knee injury suffered by Kevin Durant last night in the third quarter of the photo-finished game against Miami. The superstar of the Nets, the NBA’s fittest team, underwent routine tests in the past few hours and a meniscus sprain emerged. Nothing too serious however, KD will be reevaluated in 2 weeks.

Kevin Durant will re-evaluated in two weeks with an MCL sprain, team says.

Durant is no stranger to knee injuries. Last season the Brooklyn star had missed a month and a half due to a similar but more serious injury. Who knows if the Nets even without Durant, 29.7 average points on the season, will they be able to maintain the same pace that has seen them climb to their current second place in the East, just one game behind Boston.
