Jokic shatters Wilt Chamberlain’s playoff triple-double record with monstrous performance against Lakers

Nikola Jokic is officially the all-time leader in triple-doubles in a single postseason in league history by surpassing Wilt Chamberlain with another stellar performance in Game 4 of the 2023 Western Conference Finals against the Los Angeles Lakers.

Nikola Jokic recorded his eighth triple-double in these playoffs, surpassing Wilt Chamberlain on the list for the most triple-doubles scored in a single postseason.

2023 Nikola Jokic 8
1967 Wilt Chamberlain 7
1982 Magic Johnson 6
2019 Draymond Green 6

His eighth postseason triple-double came in just 14 games, after collecting two against the Minnesota Timberwolves, three against the Phoenix Suns and three in the four-game series against the Los Angeles Lakers.

Nikola Jokic traveled to an average triple-double in the series against the Lakers. Among those games were a couple of outstanding statistical performances by the two-time MVP. 30-17-17 in Game 3 against the Suns, while in the opening game of this series against the Lakers he finished with an uncredible 34-21-14.

We are really talking about incredible numbers for what many consider the best center in history. Certainly he is the best passing center in history.
