It\’s only preseason, but Russell Westbrook is already nervous with teammates

The NBA preseason will end in a few days to make way next Tuesday for the Opening Night of the 2022-23 regular season, but the Los Angeles Lakers Are already showing some signs of nervousness. The yellow-viola have played five preseason games so far, winning only one, the one against Golden State a few days ago. Of course, that\’s just preseason: the Bucks themselves, among the favorites for the title, have lost every game.

What is most worrying is the attitude of some players. Russell Westbrook first and foremost. The point guard, like last season, is not shining. Last night in the KO against Minnesota he scored only 5 points in 25′ taking 3 shots in total, with 4 assists and 3 turnovers. At one point, after a foul committed by him himself, Pat Beverley called a gathering of the 5 players on the court to say a few words, probably to motivate his teammates. LeBron James and Lonnie Walker IV approached, Anthony Davis showed some hesitation while Westbrook just ignored him, setting himself up for the following opponent\’s free throw a couple of feet away. The two, Russ and Beverley, never could stand each other in their careers, but now that they are teammates they have repeatedly stated that they get along very well.

Westbrook showed more signs of nervousness, this time with opponents, including on a throw-in, twice throwing the ball to Jaden McDaniels.
