In the afternoon the California Club completed its European tour with a friendly against the Stella Azzurra youth team in Rome. This is a team made up of NBA prospects, many of them offspring such as Bronny and Bryce James. A few days ago, against France U18, Bronny had made a spectacular dunk that sent social media into raptures.
This time, no dunk for the first-born son of the James household, but a stoppage chasedown which SportsCenter was quick to compare to His father’s in the Finals on Andre Iguodala.. Indeed in the movements it somewhat resembles it, although obviously the importance and context are to be kept in mind.

Eventually for Bronny James there were only 7 points against Stella Azzurra, which was nevertheless beaten narrowly 60-57. MVP of the night was Penny Hardaway’s son Ashton, who instead scored 21 points. Justin Pippen, son of Scottie, finished with 8 points; no minutes for Bryce James, class of 2007.
