Houston Rockets unleashed: big contract to Dillon Brooks, then two more arrivals

They are the Houston Rockets the next team of Dillon Brooks, jettisoned by the Memphis Grizzlies after starring in the negative in the losing series to the Lakers. The player was the center of a sign-and-trade with Memphis and signed a four-year, $80 million total. In return, the Grizzlies get Josh Christopher.

But the Rockets didn’t stop there: they finalized the trade of Usman Garuba and TyTy Washington Jr to the Atlanta Hawks to free up space, then went on to get Patty Mills from the Brooklyn Nets. Details of the trade have not been disclosed for now. Finally, they signed Australian center Jock Landale, outgoing from the Phoenix Suns, with a four-year, $32 million.

All after bringing to Texas only yesterday. Fred VanVleet with another four-year, $130 million deal. The Rockets, who will be coached by Ime Udoka next season, will enter the starting lineup with a roster to keep an eye on.
