Tonight the Detroit Pistons played against the Orlando Magic and so there was the challenge between Simone Fontecchio and Paolo Banchero.
The Italian guy put up 17 points, topped with 3 rebounds, 5 assists and 1 recovered ball, all while shooting 7 of 13 from the field including 3 of 5 from behind the arc.
Banchero scored less, though only one basket less, as he stopped at 15. He added 5 rebounds, 3 assists and 2 stoppages to his performance, shooting quite poorly as he finished with 5 of 17 from the field.
Banchero did, however, put up the game-winner from two that gave the Magic success against Fontecchio’s Pistons:

Simo did his thing with the Detroit Pistons, proving once again that he fits in just fine at this level.
Cade Cunningham unfortunately “wasted” his 27 points again. because his team was unable to bring home the victory.
Let’s see how the Motor City lineup performs between now and the end of the year and especially how many races they can win. After that in the summer Fontecchio will make his decision: revert to Detroit and play or try to earn space in a mid-tier lineup.
