Damian Lillard led the Milwaukee Bucks to victory over the Indiana Pacers in Game 1 of the first round of the NBA Playoffs.
Dame actually dominated the first half, directing the match, only to play a much less impactful second half. Lillard scored 35 points before halftime and not a single one after. A very peculiar statistic that makes him the player to have scored the most points in the first half without scoring in the second in all of NBA history.
Lillard’s 35 points is almost a record for a player in his first playoff game in a Bucks jersey: in his postseason debut with Milwaukee, only Kareem Abdul-Jabbar and Gary Brokaw did better with 36.
Recall that Milwaukee managed to win 109-94 despite the absence of Giannis Anteokounmpo, still out with a calf problem.
