Miles Bridges, over the past year and a half, has been talked about more for his offenses off the court than for his performance on the parquet. The player of the Charlotte Hornets is back available this year after a season’s absence due to the trial for domestic violence on his ex-girlfriend and mother of his children. Bridges then in October had been arrested again for violating the court-ordered restraining order and attempting to assault the woman. Despite this, at the end of a 25-game disqualification, the player was able to return to NBA courts and this season is averaging 19.6 points on a team on 7-17.
Precisely because of the offenses committed, Canada banned Bridges from entering its borders.. For this reason the Hornets star tonight will not be available for the away game against the Toronto Raptors, but will join his teammates directly in Indianapolis for the next game against the Pacers. Charlotte will again host Toronto on March 4, and the treatment for Miles Bridges will probably be the same there as well.
ESPN Sources: Canada’s decision to deny Hornets F Miles Bridges entry into country is unlikely to be reversed in time for him to arrive for tonight’s game vs. Raptors. Bridges – who pleads no contest to felony charge of injuring a child’s parent – was denied border access Sunday. pic.twitter.com/Z4Ajw0FHhJ
